Delicious Italian

The idea of Delicious Italian came to me after years of frustrating research for authentic Italian cuisine here in Australia. I would simply go to an Italian restaurant and order a pizza or a plate of pasta just to leave an hour later quite disappointed. Whilst many restaurants nowadays can claim real Italian dishes on their menus for many years the recipes utilised in restaurants were, mildly put, a simple approximation of how these were executed on Italian tables. Many people attending my cooking classes were often surprised by how different my Italian dishes were compared to those they ate at their favourite restaurants even though those dishes shared the same name. Delicious Italian mission aims to spread the word about Italian food as it is cooked in Italy the authentic way, simple as that. We will attempt to do that with the introduction of cooking classes, blog articles, events participation, home-made style catering and anything we can get our hands on to showcase what authentic Italian regional cuisine is all about.
